The 2012 on, 2.8lt common rail colorado has a design flaw in where the fuel pump is mounted to the frame rail under the vehicle.
\ \The problem is, there is a drain plug and fuel filters in the bottom of the pump that is very vulnerable to damage by rocks and logs offroad.
\ \If this plug or the screw in fuel filters are damaged all pressure to the fuel rail will be lost and the vehicle will stop.
