Installing a digital sound processor or a high end amplifier with TOSlink Input?
With the optional APA-TOS1 interface (sold separately) you can feed a digital stereo signal straight to your amplifier or DSP for the best quality sound.
(Fading control not possible with using Toslink output)
Plug and Play With Ease
Each AmpPRO interface includes a vehicle specific Plug and Play harness. This harness saves time having to hard-wire in like conventional line out converters and also offers the ability to retain extra factory audio channels like Bluetooth and navigation audio.
Plugs into the OEM Radio at the dash board and away you go.
With the supplied bass control knob, you can directly adjust the volume of the sub-woofer channels even if your factory radio didn't have it.

Vehicle must have the 24-PIN AND 54-PIN Ford style connector at the OEM radio to be compatible.
Vehicle MUST have 8.4" SYNC radio display
Vehicle MUST have SONY amplified audio system **
This product is compatible with data-bus controlled amplified systems only.
To identify these systems, look for logos on door speakers, tweeters, dash speakers or the subwoofer to confirm that the vehicle has a compatible amplified system. If you are unsure of your vehicle having an amplified system please contact an authorized Ford service center for further clarification.
- 2018-2019 Super Duty Trucks can have either Sony or B&O systems to be compatible.
- 2019+ Mustang must have B&O System to be compatible. **
If the amp looks like the one pictured, it is compatible.
The amp can be found in the Passenger kick panel area.
If the system is amplified and not badged then the AP4 is not compatible as this is a completely analog system.
