Circuit Breakers are designed to break or carry a current through a circuit. They work by interrupting the electrical current when it becomes too high. Unlike a fuse that blows and requires replacement for a device to operate, an automatic reset circuit breaker will allow continued operation. A manual reset version allows inspection of a fault before the circuit is reset.
