LM Intake Cleaner aerosol is an essential tool for professional motor mechanics, offering exceptional cleaning performance for both diesel and petrol engines.

This advanced formula is engineered to dissolve and remove stubborn carbon deposits, oil residues, and lacquer-like compounds from the intake system, ensuring optimal engine performance and longevity.

The 60cm application hose (included with the can) allows for easy and price application, making it an indispensable addition to your professional toolkit.

IMPORTANT: Do not apply before turbo or intercooler. Do not use in vehicles where the intercooler is integrated into the intake/inlet manifold.

Product Usage:

Ensure the engine is at operating temperature.
Shake the can before use.
Disconnect the air intake hose at the throttle body or air intake manifold.
Insert the application hose into the intake manifold or throttle body
Set engine at ~1500 RPM (Diesel) or ~2500 RPM (Petrol)
Spray JLM Intake Cleaner directly into the inlet manifold.
Spray 10 times, in 1-2 second intervals (short sprays) allowing engine to stabilise between sprays.
Allow engine to idle for ~3 minutes.
Repeat the process until the can is empty.
If excessive knocking or backfire occurs during the process, pause and allow the engine to idle until the knocking stops.
After the application is complete, reconnect the air intake hose.
Allow the engine to run for a few minutes to ensure the cleaner has fully circulated and burned off any residues.
Flush and replace engine oil and oil filter.
Test drive the vehicle to verify improved performance. Do not rev past 2500rpm for the first 10 minutes.
