Setting up camp in strong winds and rain is never an easy task but making sure your awning stays attached to Caravan or RV, just got easier. The Aussie Traveller Anti Flap Kit has set the revolutionary standard for preventing wind flap and successfully adding walls for RV roll-out awnings.  

Wind flap is prevented thanks to the full-length clamp that holds on to your awnings outside edge. This added stability from the Aussie traveller anti flap kit can potentially reduce damage to your awning in particularly windy conditions. A good quality awning shouldn’t tear in bad conditions. However, with enough force, we’ve heard one too many stories about big gusts and a few near misses with awning poles.  

Secure the edges of your canopy with the inbuilt tracks of the anti-flap kit. This provides a means of connection for erecting privacy walls, sunscreens, and fly netting. Once a wall is added, the Aussie Traveller anti-flap kit creates a wind and waterproof seal between the edge of the awning fabric and the wall, providing extra protection to your caravan’s outdoor area. Curved Roof Rafters have a dual purpose. They are mostly used to prevent the awning canopy from sagging & hence ensure water run-off. They are also good for keeping the awning fabric taught thus reducing wind flap. Awnings that flap can cause your RV to shake or even cause damage to the awning itself.

Did you know awning damage is the most common type of insurance claim within the RV industry? Curved Roof Rafters were introduced to help overcome these two common problems experienced by caravanners with roll out awnings:

This storage bag features 6 pockets and 4 sets of strap ties to secure the bag neatly together. Made from high quality EuroWall fabric and finished in a black and grey design, our storage bag fits a complete Anti-Flap Kit plus 1-4 Curved Roof Rafters.
