This tank comes with nutserts intstalled. These are not designed to hold the full weight of the tank but can assist in stabilising (stoping the tank from sliding). It is always recomended to support the tank with metal straps using the indents and holes.

The Outback Explorer 3.8L 12v Water Pump is compact and designed for a wide range of applications including liquid transfer, spraying, circulation, filtration, and dispensing! The Outback Explorer 3.8L 12v Water Pump diaphragm pumps are hardened and prepared for extreme conditions. The 12v water pump head and components utilize a completely integrated design, requiring minimal labour to replace and providing up to 3.8 Liters per minute.

These pumps are commonly fitted in Camper Trailers, Caravans, Campervans and 4WD set ups.

Vent Kit For Poly Water Tanks

Vent Kit for Poly Water Tanks, includes hose, fittings, hose clamps and filter to suit WTP45FV and WTP60FV, other tanks will require drilling and tapping.

The tank is fitted with a ¼” BSPT brass insert located near the filler cap (Some tanks may have a ½” outlet and an adapter may need to be sourced). This connection is for a vent to allow the tank to breath when water is drained into another tank or in case of expansion of the water in hot weather. This vent kit includes a short piece of hose to allow the vent to be located well above the top of the tank. The filter is designed to prevent dust entering the tank and will NOT stop water so it is essential that the filter be mounted above the height of the tank – even when the vehicle is parked on a steep angle or used in rough off-road conditions.

Important Notes:

If using the tank inside a vehicle please be aware there may be some seepage from the filter and do not

place in a spot that could damage other items if this happens.
