The Nuova Mapa Telescopic and Adjustable Table Leg has a turntable/sliding tabletop mechanism.

Encompassing ease and versatility, this revolutionary table leg is made in Italy from galvanised steel.

It has a spring loaded leg, which can be lowered by pressing on the foot pump at the base and pushing down on the table top. Raising the table top is just as simple – press the foot pump again. The table top mechanism, made from lightweight aluminium, facilitates movement in and out of the dining area. A lift lever allows the tabletop to swivel up to 180˚, as well as in a N, S, E or W direction.

Tip: To create additional strength and stability, it is always good practise to have the table top edges rest on surrounding furniture bases.

What does the handle under the table do?

The handle operates a brake cable that releases the tabletop. When the handle is squeezed, it allows the tabletop to slide forward, backward, left, or right, and also rotate around its centre point.

What does the foot pedal at the base control?

The foot pedal controls the vertical height adjustment. Pressing the pedal releases the internal spring-loaded gas strut, so you can raise or lower the table between 330 mm and 710 mm from floor to tabletop underside.
