PLEASE NOTE: To avoid interference with a front storage box or access door, please measure your A Frame and allow for at least 500mm space from the front of the caravan to the intended install location of the bike carrier.

What types of bikes fit on this rack?

The rack is built to carry two standard bikes with a combined weight of 35 kg. It works well for road bikes, most mountain bikes, and kids’ bikes. Tyres up to about 2.8 inches wide, or just under 7 cm, fit securely in the rails. Wider tyres, like those on fat bikes, may not sit properly. Very heavy e-bikes can also push past the weight limit, so they are not recommended.

How do I load the bikes onto the rack?

Place the first bike closest to the caravan and set the second bike facing the opposite way. This stops the pedals and handlebars from clashing. Turn the front wheels slightly so the handlebars don’t press against the caravan body. Secure each wheel and frame using the supplied straps, pulling them tight so the bikes don’t move. If you want extra stability for long trips, you can add a Fiamma Bike Block Pro to hold them even firmer.
