The Camper Trolley RT1500RSG5 (also known as Robot Trolley in Europe) is designed for smaller caravans, camper trailers, and boats up to 1,500 kg. As the lightest model in the range, it’s easy to handle while still providing plenty of power for everyday use. With its compact build, it’s perfect for tight driveways, garages, and storage spaces where manoeuvring by hand is difficult.

This model runs on a 25.9V lithium-ion quick swap battery with a capacity of 5.5Ah (142Wh). The system delivers a normal speed of 7 m/min, with a fast mode of 15.5 m/min, giving you smooth and controlled movement. The included 29.4V 5A charger keeps downtime short so you’re always ready to move your caravan when needed.

Control is simple with the handheld remote, which works up to 25 metres away. The RT1500RSG5 is finished in black and built with an IP54 rating, giving it protection from dust and splashes so it holds up well outdoors. For single-axle caravans or lighter trailers, the 1500 model is a reliable and convenient entry point in the range.

Does the Robot Trolley switch off on its own if I don’t use it?

Yes. The trolley will automatically power down after around three minutes if the remote isn’t being used. This helps conserve the battery and prevents unnecessary wear on the motor. If you need to continue moving your caravan, simply activate it again with the remote.

Can I keep the Robot Trolley attached to my caravan all the time?

No. The trolley is designed for manoeuvring only and should not stay connected while towing your caravan on the road. Leaving it attached could cause damage to the unit or your caravan. Once you’re done, detach the trolley and store it safely in the supplied box or bag.

Will the Robot Trolley work with a dual-axle caravan?

Yes, the Robot Trolley can move dual-axle caravans. The most important factor is that the caravan’s weight is balanced correctly towards the front. If the load is heavy at the rear, the trolley may struggle for traction. A properly balanced setup makes moving smoother and less stressful on the unit.
