A 2kW diesel heater suits most caravans, camper trailers, vans and small boats. For larger motorhomes or fifth wheelers with more air volume, look at a higher-output unit or twin outlets to spread the heat.
These units draw roughly 0.1 to 0.24 litres an hour depending on the heat setting. A 10L tank runs for days of overnight use, and they run at 12V with a low power draw, so your battery holds up.
Yes it is possible, bit it does depend on your installation. Diesel air heaters should ALWAYS vent exhaust outside the cabin. Have the heater installed to the maker's instructions and always fit a carbon monoxide alarm. If unsure speak to a professional.
