Each strap has two parts, a short and a long part, the Tie Down Straps are highly visible to reduce tripping, and the design works well with the Safety Spring, the Rollout Awning Anchor Kit, and they can also be used to anchor tents, gazebos and outdoor shade areas.

  • The shorter strap has a loop on one end, and a metal cam buckle at the other end and is 620mm long. The loop allows the tie down strap to be securely fitted over the the awning track
  • The longer section has a loop on one end and is 2250mm long. The loop is fastened through the safety spring, and the other end of the strap fits into the metal cam buckle to control the strap tension

The Tie Down Straps can be used on Caravan awnings, tent poles, and multi purpose tarp grippers!

How to attach the Tie Down Straps to the awning and Safety Springs:

  1. The tie down straps come in two pieces.
  2. Place the short Tie Down Strap over the top of the awning rail, and thread the strap through the loop
  3. Thread the long strap through one end of the Safety Spring and thread through the loop
  4. Thread the long strap through the metal Cam Buckle which is attached to one end of the short strap
  5. Thread the loose end of the long strap through the Retaining Clip, to give a nice neat finish. This stops the strap flapping in the wind too
  6. Tighten the long strap by pulling through the Cam Buckle, until you have reached the correct tension on your strap.
