Charging a Deep Cycle Lithium Battery with This 220W Solar Panel

To safely charge a lithium deep cycle battery (typically 12V), you'll need:

• A compatible MPPT solar charge controller
  Make sure it's rated for:
  • Input voltage: 21.5V is within range for most 12V MPPT controllers.
  • Current handling: Should support 12.4A input minimum.
• Battery capacity match:
  This 220W panel works well for lithium batteries in the 50Ah–200Ah range.
• Correct voltage: The panel's 18.4V Vmp is ideal for charging 12V lithium batteries when paired with the right controller.
