These Tuff Terrain Extendable Towing Mirrors are permanent, vehicle-specific replacements for the stock mirrors on Toyota Landcruiser 75, 76, 78, and 79 Series models. They are designed to provide the visibility required by Australian road rules when towing trailers or caravans wider than the vehicle. The mirrors feature a heavy-duty construction intended to maintain stability and resist folding when passing oncoming heavy vehicles at highway speeds.

The mirrors utilize an extendable slide mechanism that increases the width from a 475mm unextended position to a 560mm fully extended position. This allows for an unobstructed line of sight down the side of a wide load. When the vehicle is not in use for towing, the mirrors can be retracted or folded inward to reduce the vehicle's total width for parking or navigating narrow tracks.
