The Ampfibian® RV-PLUS is the perfect power adaptor for caravan/RV owners. Compact for travel, and weatherproof for outdoor use, it lets 15A devices connect legally to 10A power points and includes fast acting earth leakage safety protection.
It is water resistant to IP-55 (jets of water from all directions) and made from impact resistant plastic.The RV-PLUS works with ordinary and heavy-duty caravan leads up to 12mm diameter. Independently tested and certified,it meets all applicable Australian Standards and recommendations:
AS/NZS-3190:2011 “Approval and test specification – Residual current devices (current-operated earth-leakage devices)” which includes portable R.C.Ds, and AS/NZS-3001:2008/Amdt 1:2012 “Electrical Installations – Portable structures and vehicles including their site supplies”.
The RV-PLUS will not convert 10A to 15A. The functionality of a connected device may be limited if it is used to its full capacity. Contact Ampfibian for further information.
R.C.Ds will not prevent shock but will minimise the effects by shutting the power off quickly.
