Superior Engineering is the only company that utilizes a welded pin design to stop the pins from working loose and wearing the shackle plates.

They feature an anti-inversion design to stop the springs from being damaged when the shackles are hit by obstacles.

Greasable pins to ensure a comfortable ride that also accepts standard bushes and manufactured 2 inches over standard.

It is recommended to purchase a Bush kit at the same time to ensure no damage is done to the shackle pins if your original shackles are rusty.

Hi I am Mick from Superior Engineering.

Today I want to show you our new seventy six series extended shackles.

There is a few great things about these shackles, one is we use ten millimeter steel.

Standard shackles are only six millimeter steel, so these are a lot stronger and they really have to be because we are going extended, so they're about two inches longer than factory.

We do an SA5 zinc coating on them, so you can go to the beach or where ever you want to go and they're not going to go rust on you.

We use high tensile eighteen millimeter pins here so they will take the standard bushes.

Grease fittings we have, so obviously your suspension moves nice and smoothly.

In the back of it there is an anti-inversion bolt.

Now that bolt there is to actually stop your suspension travelling too far if you back your vehicle up on say a LandCruiser and hit a stump or something there is the opportunity your shackle will go too far and bend your springs.

That will actually stop that happening.
