The Cruisemaster™ DO35 Lock assembly consists of a dummy pin, two keys and lock chamber with dust cover.
How does it work? The dummy pin is to be inserted into the DO35 universal joint from the top end and the tip of the pin will protrude out at the bottom. The lock is then fitted to the protruding end of the pin and can be locked with a key. The coupling becomes inoperable, which prevents others from being able to hitch up to your trailer or van when you're not there.
This product is covered by a 12 Month manufacturer's Warranty.

Will it interfere with weight distribution hitches or sway control gear?
No, it won’t interfere. The DO35 lock is only fitted once you’ve unhitched, so it never comes into contact with your weight distribution bars or sway control gear. You can tow as usual, then add the lock afterwards to secure the coupling.
Will this lock stop someone from taking my caravan if it’s parked on the street?
Yes, it will. Once the dummy pin and lock are in place, the coupling is completely blocked. A tow ball can’t connect, so no one can simply hitch up and drive off with your caravan. It’s designed to give you peace of mind when your van is left unattended.
Does the lock need much looking after?
No, it doesn’t need much. The dust cap does most of the work by keeping grit and moisture out of the chamber. If you’re storing the van outside or driving on dusty roads, a light spray of silicone or WD-40 will keep the mechanism smooth and easy to use.
