John Guest is very proud to be a UK manufacturer and every John Guest connector and coil of tubing is manufactured in the United Kingdom. However, this UK attention does not apply to market reach and product distribution.
The company’s influence and product ranges extend across the world. Ten fully owned sales subsidiaries work with several thousand distribution partners to ensure a JG system can always be purchased and delivered with ease.
Recognition for this global expansion has been attained by successfully winning the Queens Award for Export on three occasions.

When Mr John Guest first opened his factory doors in 1961, he was determined to run a company where quality of product and excellence of service underpinned its ethos. A strong spirit of innovation was encouraged from the outset which led to the development and invention of the first Speedfit push-fit fittings in the 1970s by John Guest himself.
The company greatly appreciates excellent relationships with its distributors and end users. From humble beginnings to global powerhouse
Rich heritage brought us to where we are today, and we are extremely proud of it. And like many of the world’s leading inventions, our origins come from humble beginnings. For us, it was 1949 Brisbane, Australia, where we set up a small tool shop. Fast-forward to today and we’re one of the fastest growing publicly traded industrial companies listed on Australia’s Securities Exchange.
